To our loyal fanbase:
Effective 05/01/26, we will be implementing a pricing adjustment across the Grapplesnake lineup.
For a long time, pricing remained unchanged while costs steadily increased in the background. At this point, a correction became necessary to keep things sustainable.
Across the lineup, sets will increase between $1.00 and $1.50 depending on the model, and reels will increase between $20 and $25.
There are four main factors behind this change:
Raw material costs
Our strings are made in Germany from high performance co polyester, which is directly tied to petroleum based materials. Costs in this area have been increasing and have become less predictable.
Production costs
Manufacturing costs in Europe have risen across the board, including energy, labor, and overall factory operations.
Transatlantic transport fees
Shipping goods from Europe to the United States has increased significantly compared to previous years. This has been one of the most impactful changes on our side.
Duties and tariffs
Import related costs have also risen and continue to fluctuate depending on regulatory changes.
We have absorbed these increases for as long as possible. This update is a measured adjustment and does not reflect a full pass through of all cost increases.
Our approach remains unchanged:
- Maintain performance and consistency at a high level
- Keep pricing as fair and stable as possible
- Continue building the brand the right way
