Tour Sniper has been engineered with a known formula in mind. With similar playing characteristics as Luxilon Alu Power, Solinco Tour Bite, and Kirschbaum Max Power, we decided to create a string that was softer, with more control, and pentagonal in shape.

Low-powered, Tour Sniper provides ultimate levels of control. It is ideal for players that enjoy this particular feel, but are not happy with how firm it normally is. It comes partially pre-streched to also minimize the significant initial tension loss normally associated with this family of strings.

Tour Sniper is ideal for heavy-hitters. Its edges are less sharp than our square offerings such as Cube, and launch angles are less dramatic. Very "silky", it is extremely easy to string.

Available grey color.

Diameters: 1.25 mm and 1.30 mm

Tension recommendations:

- Normal poly stringing tension.

Approximate string weight with zip ties and no packaging: 21 grams.

Individual 12m set

Stringing Tips:

Given its soft edges and slippery nature, Tour Sniper is very easy to string. Standard considerations are advised.

Great String! just not enough string per set

Best control string I've tried by far. Excellent feel, comfort, spin and control. Feel very confident in going for winners but also has nice depth for rally and defensive shots. I've tried a ton of strings! Only problem is there isn't quite enough string to do 2 18x20 mains. I used Ghostwire as the cross at 55/52 on TF40 18x20. Had to manually tension the final two mains on my drop weight machine due to lack of string. Toroline is the only string brand that gives enough string for this really but I don't like the way their strings feel and play. Please add another 6 inches or so per set and it would work perfectly for me. Fantastic string!

Casey! Very happy that you like it! Each string actually comes with a little over a foot and a half extra from what is stated in the package. In your specific case, yes, you could use even more for two 18 mains, but let me recommend you getting and using a starting clamp for that last pull. It's a common practice in this scenario. You can wrap a scrap section of string around the clamp, and then bite your last main to the clamp, therefore extending everything, hope this makes sense, you can look it up on Google or YouTube. Thanks!

Superb All-Around Poly

This string is excellent and exactly as advertised. After years of playing with 17 gauge Tour Bite and Lynx Tour, Tour Sniper is my Goldilocks string. I found that I liked Tour Bite when new, but the tension drop and quick notching due to the sharpness resulted in frequent re-stringing. Lynx Tour is a great all-rounder and holds tension more effectively, but is a tad on the heavy and stiff side. Tour Sniper is the best of the bunch. It has a direct response that I would still consider firm, but feels softer compared to other silver tour-level strings. The tension maintenance is excellent, and the silkiness of the string adds to its longevity. I found the power response to be excellent. Even with its softer feel I was able to maintain excellent control. Thank you for a great product, Grapplesnake!

Thank you, Julian! You hit the nail right on the head with your impressions. Very happy that Tour Sniper fits your needs so well.

Amazing strings

Just strung my new Yonex Ezone (2025) with tour sniper strings, and I’m seriously impressed. The power I’m getting off these is next level. Every shot feels more explosive, but I’m still getting great control and feel on the ball. It’s a perfect match for my racquet, and honestly, it’s made a noticeable difference in my game. I highly recommend for players looking to add serious pop to their shots.

Samuel! Thank you! Very happy to read that you feel your game has improved with Tour Sniper!

Very slick

Big fan of M8, did not like this string so much in my pure strike 18x20. I did not have very much control (no bite) and maybe the stringed was too slick? I also only kept it in for the first session, so I could have given it more time. Worth trying for sure with more open string bed.

Thank you for giving us your impressions, Jason.
